In 2019, I started driving for Lyft and soon after for Uber as well. Eventually both companies changed their pay structures and I found myself working harder than ever and making less money every week. I knew there was a better way.
One morning, I picked up a female passenger who regularly travels to the airport for work. She had 3 previous drivers cancel on her and she was running short on time to make her flight. She mentioned that she was reluctant to use rideshare again because two previous rides ended badly as the driver was a male and made sexual advances toward her. I was convinced I could be the better way.
I knew I had been changed. In that moment I found my mission: To be an independent personal driver providing the safest and most reliable transportation for women in the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
